La Louve is currently hibernating until summer 2017 while our drummer Christine studies abroad in Paris, France. Before she left, though, we played one last show at Ghost Planet in Urbana, which Paul Kotheimer was kind enough to record for us. This live recording includes every song off of our self-titled tape we released in June, as well as a cover of Sleater-Kinney's "I Wanna Be Your Joey Ramone."
Ghost Planet - formerly known as the Dingbat Dungeon - was where we played our first show in October 2015, so playing one last show there before the break was especially fitting. The other bands who played the show were Kowabunga! Kid, Earth Witch, and Livin' Thing.
The live album is pay what you can, but any and all proceeds will go directly to Planned Parenthood. In light of the recent election, it's vital that we continue to fight for the causes and institutions we believe in. Donating the proceeds of this album to Planned Parenthood is our own (albeit small) way of fighting for what we believe in.
